IT Manager

Onsite (near Watford)

£70,000 (DOE)

I have partnered with a client in radio communications who are looking for an experienced IT Manager to join their team, on a fully onsite basis.

You will be responsible for digital security, providing technical support to employees, systems running effectively and efficiently performing maintenance checks, implementing networks and troubleshooting for users in UK and international offices.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement strategies to meet organisations requirements, ensuring project timelines are met
  • Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures
  • Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
  • Manage and respond to all network issues by diagnosing and resolving faults effectively, where required install or change software to fix issues
  • Analyse common complaints and problems and produce reports
  • Set up, configure IT products (phones, laptops, PCs, Printers etc) and maintain all IT systems for staff
  • Perform new user on boarding tasks, and system inductions
  • Ensure Active Directory, Security Groups, and User Permissions are accurately up to date
  • Write, edit and revise training documents for new and updated software and hardware
  • Maintain access control and security systems
  • Provide out-of-hours support to the team
  • Implement changes in the systems to achieve maximum security standards
  • Maintain inventory records of all Company IT equipment
  • Maintain and review all compliance requirements around Cyber security and GDPR.
