CAD Designer

Location: Hertfordshire

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum

The Role

To produce detailed designs and drawings for the manufacture of high-end bespoke cabinetry.

Main duties will include:

  • Liaising with clients and sub-contractors
  • Collate detail design information through the use of RFI’s and communications with clients
  • Produce drawings to scale for all bespoke furniture and fittings as appropriate in line with client requirements, using bespoke CAD software
  • Re-draft drawings where job variations are agreed with the management team in line with changing requirements and customer needs
  • Support with Project Management
  • Ensure all work is carried out in an efficient and effective manner

Skills and Qualifications                             

  • Proven ability of using CAD to produce designs and specifications
  • Competent and experienced at using IT (including all Microsoft Office products)
  • Good communication skills
  • Flexible and responsive to change
  • Problem solving, to find satisfactory solutions to everyday and unique issues
  • An interest in the furniture industry
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision
  • Able to work to tight deadlines and produce work to an exceptionally high quality and standard
  • Give the highest possible standard of customer service and always putting the customer first
