CAD Designer
Location: Hertfordshire
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum

The Role
To produce detailed designs and drawings for the manufacture of high-end bespoke cabinetry.
Main duties will include:
- Liaising with clients and sub-contractors
- Collate detail design information through the use of RFI’s and communications with clients
- Produce drawings to scale for all bespoke furniture and fittings as appropriate in line with client requirements, using bespoke CAD software
- Re-draft drawings where job variations are agreed with the management team in line with changing requirements and customer needs
- Support with Project Management
- Ensure all work is carried out in an efficient and effective manner
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven ability of using CAD to produce designs and specifications
- Competent and experienced at using IT (including all Microsoft Office products)
- Good communication skills
- Flexible and responsive to change
- Problem solving, to find satisfactory solutions to everyday and unique issues
- An interest in the furniture industry
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision
- Able to work to tight deadlines and produce work to an exceptionally high quality and standard
- Give the highest possible standard of customer service and always putting the customer first
