About the position of Completions OfficerWe are excited to offer four fantastic opportunities to join a thriving specialist lender in our expanding Completions team. Whether your expertise lies in Buy-to-Let or Residential Mortgages, we have two vacancies in each area ready for driven and detail-oriented professionals.

As a completion officer, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring mortgage cases progress smoothly and efficiently to completion. This is a dynamic role requiring close collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders, meticulous management of documentation and conditions, and delivering accurate completion forecasts. If you bring mortgage completion experience, a strong grasp of underwriting, exceptional organisational skills, and a results-driven mindset, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities for the role of Completions Officer

  • Engage with relevant stakeholders both internally and externally to obtain information to progress cases to completion
  • Monitor and manage the upcoming expiration of documents and offers
  • Update all relevant systems to maintain management information
  • Ensure that all mortgage conditions are satisfied before cases completing
  • Work closely with the underwriting team to effectively manage the post-offer caseload
  • Process incoming completion documentation either via post, email etc
  • Provide daily/weekly/monthly completion forecasts to line manager
  • Gain a full understanding of the underwriting process (underwriting cross-skill to provide cover when required

Experience and skills required for the role of Completions Officer

  • Mortgage completion experience is essential within the Buy to Let or Residential Mortgage sector
  • Good organisational skills with good time management
