Requirements for the role

  • We are looking for a skilled and experienced vehicle Paint Technician to join our Watford team.
  • Ability to use paint mixing equipment and spray guns
  • Communication and teamwork skills
  • DBS check due to some work providers
  • Own your own spray gun

Desirable

  • ATA or NVQ Level 3 in Paint
  • Experience in painting fleet and retail vehicles

Job Description Paint Technician

  • Preparing vehicles and panels for painting by cleaning, priming, sanding and masking as required
  • Mixing paint to match vehicle colour
  • Ensure quality work meeting SLA’s and deadlines
  • Keeping a clean and organised workspace, following Health & Safety policies and procedures
  • Working with the workshop controller to manage customer expectations
  • Maintaining spray booth with other paint technicians in the department
