One of the largest construction companies in the world is currently looking for a Construction Solicitor to join their in-house legal team on a permanent basis.

This company is one of the most prestigious and recognisable names in the construction sector and are responsible for major projects across the globe. This is an exciting time to join the in-house team as it looks to recruit a number of new Solicitors into the in-house function.

The successful Construction Solicitor would be taking on a varied caseload of non-contentious construction law matters from a range of projects.

This role is based in the London area and the ideal candidate would be able to attend the office three days a week, however candidates living further afield are still encouraged to apply.

This role would be perfect for a Construction Solicitor looking to make the move in-house from Private Practice or a lawyer already in-house looking for a new challenge in a global construction company.

As a Construction Solicitor, your role will include, but is not limited to;

  • Reviewing and negotiating a wide range of contractual documentation with clients, sub-contractors, consultants relating to Construction Law including - collateral warranties, framework agreements, joint venture agreements NEC and FIDIC
  • Provide legal advice across the business relating to construction matters
  • Working with external solicitors
  • Assisting with training and know how within the business
