Reed Tutors is proud to be working in partnership with the Hertfordshire EOTAS to provide exceptional educational support to students with complex needs and learning difficulties.
We are seeking experienced tutors who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with Complex Needs.
About the Role:
As a tutor with Reed Tutors, you will be responsible for delivering tailored educational support to students with complex needs and SEND.
Your role will be crucial in helping these students achieve their full potential and overcome the challenges they face in their educational journey.
Provision will be based around the outcomes identified in the EHCP.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 tuition to students with complex needs and SEND.
- Develop and implement personalised learning plans that cater to the individual needs of each student.
- Work closely with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to the student’s education.
- Monitor and report on the progress of each student, making adjustments to learning plans as necessary.
- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and success.
Requirements:
- QTS or other UK teaching qualification is essential.
- Proven experience working with students who have complex needs and learning difficulties.
- Strong understanding of SEND issues and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of each student.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A valid DBS check on the update service is essential.
- Flexibility to work in various locations including Hemel Hempstead, St Albans, and Watford.
