Logistics Supervisor

We are an established, dynamic and vibrant graphic production company based in Watford. We specialise in providing innovative and creative designs for well known companies within Film & Television, Retail and Exhibitions.

Due to continued growth, we are recruiting for a Logistics Supervisor to join our team.

Responsibilities

Working closely with the Head of Production and the production team, this role will involve (but is not limited to):

  • Supervising all team members working within Goods In and Goods Out
  • Overseeing the warehouse systems - for example: automated barcodes, managing Client’s stock and materials
  • Setting up a booking system and stock systems for materials used in despatch
  • Planning despatch jobs
  • Building relationships with Couriers companies - ensuring service levels are met
  • Reporting on deliveries
  • Liaise internally with Production Managers and CSM’s on larger projects
  • General administration relating to the warehouse and stock

Requirements

Suitable candidates will be able to display the following skills:

  • Proven experience working within a warehouse / goods in and out environment will be an advantage
  • Computer literate: a good knowledge of Word, Outlook and Excel with the ability to learn new software and implement new systems
  • Strong organisational skills - leading from the front, taking full responsibility for all goods in and out of the warehouse
  • A strong work ethic - physically fit, enjoying a hands on role that can be demanding and busy!
  • Confident communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships with team members, suppliers and customers.
