We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our client in the Watford area on a permanent basis. This would suit an individual who is suitably educated, preferably a degree in Mechanical Engineering. You will play a key role in designing, developing and improving mechanical systems and components for a wide range of products. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and customers to provide technical support and contribute to cutting edge research and development.
Key requirements of the role include:
Use of 3D CAD (SolidWorks) for modelling and designing components and assemblies.
Producing engineering drawings and implementing of DfM and DfA manufacturing processes.
Running CFD simulations using OpenFOAM.
Conducting AC/DC simulations using COMSOL Multiphysics.
A willingness to travel (car driver preferred) for occasional national or international events or product testing.
In return the company offer a competitive salary
£30000 - £45000 (negotiable)
