Reed Tutors are working with schools and the Hertfordshire Local Authority, supporting students who require tailored 1:1 tuition. We are looking for tutors with experience in working with students who have complex needs and SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) issues.

Role: 1:1 Tutor (Face-to-Face)

Location: Hertfordshire Tuition takes place at the child’s home or a local venue (e.g. libraries)

Availability: Minimum of 15 hours per week

Pay Rates: £30 - £35 per hour

Responsibilities:

Planning and Preparing sessions tailored to the child’s EHCP outcomes.

Sending detailed weekly reports highlighting the student’s progress levels and attainment.

Proven experience in supporting students with SEMH and complex needs

A compassionate and adaptable teaching approach

Ability to build positive relationships and boost student confidence

Desirable to have QTS
