Sonic Summary

Reed Tutors is seeking 1:1 Tutors to work with students in Hertfordshire who require tailored tuition.
Candidates should have experience supporting students with complex needs and SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) issues.
The role requires a minimum commitment of 15 hours per week, with pay rates ranging from £30 to £35 per hour.
Tutors will be responsible for planning sessions based on the child's EHCP outcomes and providing detailed weekly progress reports.
A compassionate teaching approach and the ability to build positive relationships with students are essential, and having QTS is desirable.

Reed Tutors are working with schools and the Hertfordshire Local Authority, supporting students who require tailored 1:1 tuition. We are looking for tutors with experience in working with students who have complex needs and SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) issues.

Role: 1:1 Tutor (Face-to-Face)

Location: Hertfordshire Tuition takes place at the child’s home or a local venue (e.g. libraries)

Availability: Minimum of 15 hours per week

Pay Rates: £30 - £35 per hour

Responsibilities:

Planning and Preparing sessions tailored to the child’s EHCP outcomes.

Sending detailed weekly reports highlighting the student’s progress levels and attainment.

Proven experience in supporting students with SEMH and complex needs

A compassionate and adaptable teaching approach

Ability to build positive relationships and boost student confidence

Desirable to have QTS
