A vibrant and inclusive primary school in Watford is looking to appoint a nurturing and enthusiastic Year 1 Class Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This is a full-time, permanent position with full class teaching responsibilities.

About the Role:
- Take full responsibility for a Year 1 class, delivering a rich and engaging curriculum.
- Provide a warm, structured environment to support the transition from Early Years into Key Stage 1.
- Plan and deliver creative and differentiated lessons that support early literacy, numeracy, and social development.
- Work collaboratively with a supportive KS1 team and contribute to the wider life of the school.
- Promote a positive classroom culture where pupils feel safe, happy, and eager to learn.
About You:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 - Year 1 experience is desirable but not essential.
- A passion for early education and a nurturing teaching style.
- Strong classroom management skills and a positive approach to behaviour.
- Committed to inclusive practice and working in partnership with families and colleagues.
