We are seeking a Transaction Buyer/Data Input professional to join our procurement team. This role is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented individual with strong data entry skills, capable of processing ICT orders efficiently and accurately while ensuring compliance with company policies and standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end process of ICT orders, inputting data into procurement systems, and ensuring timely delivery through effective communication with internal teams and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process ICT Orders: Oversee the full lifecycle of ICT orders, from receipt to system entry, ensuring compliance with established KPIs and timely order processing.
  • Accurate Data Entry: Input purchase orders and related data into procurement and order management systems with high attention to detail to track order status and meet delivery deadlines.
  • Purchase Order Management: Monitor purchase orders and resolve any issues related to order status, working closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Compliance & Standards: Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies, procedures, and standards, contributing to the overall efficiency and accuracy of the ordering process.
  • Multitasking & Prioritization: Effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing and executing duties to meet tight deadlines.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, finance, logistics, and other internal teams to ensure seamless communication and timely processing of orders.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Strong Keyboard Skills: Proven ability to enter data accurately and efficiently.
  • ICT Knowledge: A background in ICT is advantageous, but not essential for the role.
  • COINS/SAP Familiarity: Experience with COINS or SAP systems is a plus, but not required.
  • Procurement Process Knowledge: Understanding of procurement processes, purchase order management, and supply chain management.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in all data entry, tracking, and order management tasks.
  • Time Management & Prioritization: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable in a dynamic work environment with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • DBS Check: Must have an in-date DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) certificate.
