Role Overview:
As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our residential developments. You will work closely with experienced quantity surveyors and project managers to assist in all aspects of cost management, budgeting, and procurement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and budgets for residential projects.
  • Support the measurement and valuation of works, including variations and final accounts.
  • Participate in procurement processes, including supplier and subcontractor engagement.
  • Monitor project expenditure and assist in reporting financial performance.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  • Help maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field (or currently pursuing).
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a desire to learn.
  • Familiarity with construction contracts and procurement processes is advantageous.
  • A working knowledge of relevant software (e.g., Excel, CostX) is beneficial.
