Senior Sales Associate / Valuer

We're currently recruiting for a Senior Sales Associate/Valuer for our Estate Agency client based in Oxhey. Having been established for nearly 30 years, the company have five hands-on Directors, and over 20 staff across their branches. They believe that their success is built from the passion to provide good old-fashioned customer service, combined with local expert knowledge. They are continuously investing in the very latest marketing technology, which has created an unrivaled formula for clients in Watford looking to sell their home or let their property.The ideal candidate must have at least 3 - 4 years of experience as a Sales Negotiator, with great negotiation skills and a strong understanding of the sales process. You must be reliable, and trustworthy, with a passion for the property industry. You must hold a full UK Driving Licence and own your own car. Salary package and benefits of this Senior Sales Associate/Valuer role include:

• Basic £23,000 - £25,000 DOE
• OTE £35,000 - £46,000 +
• Monday to Friday 9am - 6pm, Saturday 9am - 5pm with a day off in the week (5 day working week)
• Commission
• Quarterly branch reward scheme
• Call performance bonus
• Yearly Car Allowance £2000 plus petrol allowance at 45p per mile
• Optional pension scheme
• 28 days holiday including bank holidays (1 Additional day added per year after 5 years’ service, up to 5 additional days)
• Support package to gain Propertymark NAEA/ARLA qualification

Main responsibilities for the role of Senior Sales Associate/Valuer include:

• Track and record canvasing for new business
• Booking & attending valuations
• Winning new instructions
• Ensuring an up-to-date knowledge of market conditions and competitors
• Proactively working with the team to grow market share
• Meeting targets and performance standards for negotiating and agreeing property sales

Essential skills for this Senior Sales Associate/Valuer role include:

• Minimum 3 - 4 years experience as a Sales Negotiator
• Well-presented, reliable, trustworthy and confident
• Motivated by a genuine passion for the property industry
• Great negotiation skills
• Ability to overcome objections to win business and agree a sale with both parties
• Strong understanding of the sales process
• Possess excellent communication and people skills
• Meticulous at setting tasks and following up
• Hold a full UK driving licence and your own car
