A leading secondary school in Watford is looking for an inspirational Head of Science to join their team on a permanent basis. Lead a forward-thinking department in delivering exceptional teaching and learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Science department, ensuring high standards of teaching and achievement.
- Oversee curriculum planning and delivery across KS3 to KS5.
- Provide strong leadership and support to the team.
- Monitor student progress and drive strategies for improvement.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience teaching Science at secondary level, including KS5.
- Leadership or management experience within a school setting.
- Passion for education and excellent communication skills.
Salary:Paid to scale + TLR
