As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work 1:1 or in small groups with students who have a range of special educational needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), challenging behaviour, and Down syndrome.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to secondary-aged students, both 1:1 and in small groups, addressing their individual learning needs.
- Assist pupils with SEN, including ASD, challenging behaviour, and Down syndrome.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to foster an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
- Help students manage their behaviour and make progress in their learning.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant seeking a full-time position (8:30 am - 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday) in a well-run secondary school.
