We are recruiting for experinced support workers to work in a 24 hour Residential Care Home providing care for up to 6 residents with moderate to profound learning disabilities. You be responsible for promoting independence, supporting with personal care, manual handling, helping with medication and keeping residents safe and healthy. Other reposnsibilites includesupporting them to engage with a range of daily activities including arts and crafts, music sessions, swimming and going on holiday.
You will required to have the following criteria to be eligible for selection
- 5 years checkable work references working in care
- Not be on a sponsorship
- Live local to the service or have access of a car
- Apply for an enhanced DBS or have a current DBS on the update service
- Have up to date training including moving & handling, sova, infection control, first aid and health & safety or undertake the training with our training company

- Supporting a full range of daily activities including cleaning and cooking, days out or going away on holiday
- Arranging activities in the home and in the local community

- Ensuring record keeping is maintained to the required standard at all times and contribute to service monitoring requirments
