Experienced Windscreen Technicians

  • Salary: Highly competitive compensation package + a signing bonus + 2x retention bonuses
  • Locations: Dartford, Watford, Romford, Slough, Luton and Crawley
  • Hours/Rota: 42.5 hours; 5 days a week (not 5.5); Mon-Fri/Tue-Sat; operating hours 08:00am-10:00pm
  • Out of Hours & Further Payments: Can be discussed with our the Macildowie Consultant

Macildowie is delighted to present a fantastic opportunity on behalf of our national client for experienced Windscreen Technicians in multiple locations around the South.

About the Role:

As a Windscreen Technician, you will have the opportunity to work with the latest equipment and technology, either stationed at one of the client's branches or out on the road, supporting their branch network. Your role will include repairing and replacing various types of automotive glass for both domestic and commercial vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently repair and replace automotive glass, ensuring the highest level of quality to both domestic and commercial vehicles.
  • Represent the client and its values with professionalism and courtesy when interacting with colleagues and customers, from pre-inspection to completion.
  • Maintain the high levels of health and safety, promoting and encouraging good health and safety behaviours.

About You:

Our ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Proven experience as a Windscreen Technician.
  • Relevant qualification in Automotive Glazing (i.e., NVQ Level 2).
  • A valid driver's license as the role involves travelling to customer locations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A keen eye for quality and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
