We are working with an industry leading and professional outfit of Water Treatment / Legionella Management services. They are currently recruiting in the North London area to take on an experience and diligent Water Treatment / Water Hygiene Engineer. Working on Retail, Food & Beverage, Construction and Healthcare sites you will be responsible for carrying out various water treatment / water hygiene services in line with agreed timeframes and HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines. Our client can offer an attractive holiday allowance, opportunities for training and career progression and overtime with generous overtime rates.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Hemel Hempstead, Aylesbury, Luton, St Albans, Hertford, Enfield, Stevenage, Harlow, Cheshunt, Reading, Slough, Windsor, High Wycombe, Bletchley, Brackley, Milton Keynes, Bishop's Stortford, Saffron Walden.
Experience & Qualifications:
" Hands on experience working as a Water Treatment / Water Hygiene Engineer for a reputable company is essential to the role.
" Will be confident working on a mixed portfolio of sites.
" Able to demonstrate excellent practical knowledge of HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
" Excellent communication skills.
" Working in line with pre-agreed timeframes.
The Role:
" Routine water sampling and temperature monitoring.
" Cleaning and disinfections of CWSTs.
" TMV servicing, inspection, replacement and failsafe testing.
" Cooling tower cleans and disinfections.
" Closed system sampling, analysis, and dosing with correct chemicals.
" Showerhead cleans and descales.
" Servicing of CLO2 units.
" Routine flushing of little used outlets.
" Cleaning and chlorinating hot and cold-water systems.
" Working in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines across Retail, Food & Beverage, Construction and Healthcare sites.
" Updating onsite logbooks upon completion of work.
