My clientis looking for a Junior/Trainee Estimator to join theirfriendly, vibrant team in theirPostcombe Nr Thame office.

You will be required to work closely with other members within the team.

For the Intermediate position, it would be an advantage for candidates to have a good understanding of Plumbing and Heating services and confidence when answering and talking with clients on the telephone.

The duties of the role would be:

  • Estimating of plumbing and heating packages for all types of developments.
  • Assisting with the design of projects.
  • Raising enquiries to subcontractors in order to price enquiries
  • Obtaining tenders from new and old clients with assistance from the estimating team.
  • Generally assisting with estimating duties i.e., Printing of tender documents, assist with take offs & following up on the submission of the tender with the client.


The ideal candidate should have the following:

  • Full UK driving licence/transport.
  • Good computer skills essential.
  • Be a good communicator and ability to work will in a team.
  • Be confident in managing time scales and deadlines.
  • Microsoft Office suite an advantage.
  • Past plumbing experience would be an advantage.
  • Onsite plumbing experience would an advantage.
  • Good with numbers and good IT skills.
  • Excellent analytic skills.
  • Highly organised with ability to multitask and work with tight deadlines.
  • Keen eye for detail.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Dedicated and hardworking.
  • Confident and well mannered.
  • A 'can do' attitude and a team spirit.
  • Keen to learn and develop.
