Mechanical Inspector

Mechanical Inspector / Near Watlington / Up to £30,000 per annumDo you have a passion for Aerospace Engineering? You could be progressing your career at a world class and very successful Manufacturing company who have been awarded multiple queens awards and provide a range of complex safety equipment for the Aerospace / Defence markets.Based in a busy quality inspection department, you will be a vital part of inspecting life saving cartridges and equipment. This will involve completing precise inspection on precision engineered components.

Location / HoursYou will be closed to Watlington 5 days per week, you must be able to drive to site or live very close - as public transport links are limited. Monday - Thursday 8am - 4:45pm, Friday 8am - 12pm

Mechanical Inspector Requirements

• Previous proven experience of reading technical engineering drawings
• Experience using hand held tools for inspection such as verniers, calipers etc
• GD&T knowledge is ideal but not essential
• Experience within a precision manufacturing environment, ideally Aerospace, Automotive etc

Mechanical Inspector Salary & BenefitsAs a Mechanical Inspector, you will earn a starting salary of up to £30,000 plus benefits including:

• Premium Overtime Rate at 1.5x (5 - 10 hours per week available)
• Excellent Pension Scheme (9% non-contributory)

• Annual Bonus of 1% - 3% of yearly salary (including overtime)
