Cleaning operative
Main Purpose: We are seeking a dedicated cleaning professional to join our team. Your primary role will be to provide a comprehensive cleaning service that meets our contractual commitments. This includes tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, emptying bins, polishing surfaces, and mopping areas as required. All tasks must be performed in line with cleaning best practices and health and safety regulations.
Hours: 15 hours, for afternoon shift starting from around 3pm - 3 hours, but first day would need to be 12pm to can be site inducted and shown around building plus risk assessed. All equipment and cleaning materials provided. Building closes at 7pm
Responsibilities:
- Adhere to legislative regulations, ensuring the correct use of colour-coded equipment.
- Comply with internal and external HSEA requirements.
- Deliver a cleaning service that meets our contractual obligations.
- Manage stock levels and order consumables through the correct channels to ensure service delivery.
- Operate machinery safely, following provided guidelines and training.
- Ensure a high-quality service is provided to building users at all times, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Report any concerns or issues to the supervisor immediately, such as broken equipment.
- Complete all duties within the allocated time to a high standard.
- Operate in accordance with the Soft Services Platform and handbook.
Experience:
- Proven experience using chemicals and machinery safely.
Technical Competencies:
- Environmental Awareness Tool Box Talk
