Smart Teachers is seeking a Product Design Teacher to join a promising school based in Leyton for an 8-week supply role. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and creative teacher to inspire students in a well-resourced and supportive school environment.

About the Role:
  • Teach Product Design (Design & Technology) to KS3 and KS4 students
  • Deliver engaging and practical lessons that develop students' creativity and technical skills
  • Work within a supportive DT department with access to modern tools and resources
  • Assess, monitor, and track student progress to ensure high standards of learning
  • Support the school’s inclusive and engaging approach to education
Candidate Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching Product Design or DT at secondary level (KS3 & KS4)
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students of all abilities
  • Passion for design, innovation, and hands-on learning
  • Ability to inspire students and create dynamic, interactive lessons
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
