We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Primary Teacher to join our dedicated team at a welcoming primary school in Maidstone! This is your chance to inspire students, support their educational journey, and create a vibrant, engaging learning environment.
As a Primary Teacher, you will play a crucial role in supporting students' academic and personal development. You will work closely with a team of dedicated professionals to create and implement engaging lessons tailored to each student’s needs. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and creative lessons aligned with the primary curriculum.
- Support students’ academic progress and well-being.
- Provide one-on-one and small group instruction tailored to students’ needs.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies as necessary.
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure a cohesive approach to each student’s education and well-being.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued, respected, and supported.
- Use a variety of teaching methods to engage and motivate students.
- Keep detailed records of each student’s progress and communicate this information to parents, support staff, and other relevant parties.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or equivalent.
- Trainee or early careers teachers are welcome to apply.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain strong, supportive relationships with all members of the school community.
- Deep commitment to helping students develop their academic skills, exhibiting patience and empathy.
- Relevant qualifications or training in education (desirable but not essential).
- An enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one.
