Job Opportunity: Part Qualified Assistant AccountantLocation: North BirminghamCompany Overview:Robert Half is seeking a Part Qualified Assistant Accountant for a well-established, listed company based in North Birmingham. Key Responsibilities- Prepare monthly journals to support management accounts.
- Generate post-accounts reports.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts.
- Assist with accounts payable tasks, including data entry and invoice processing, as needed.
- Post standard fixed journals, including bad debt provisions, rebate provision build-ups, and year-end adjustments.
- Produce detailed cost analyses for central cost centres upon request.
- Handle ad hoc tasks as assigned.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and email applications.
- Part-qualified in AAT, CIMA, or ACCA.
- Strong Excel skills, particularly with data organisation and analysis.
- Minimum of 2 years' finance experience, with exposure to management accounts preparation.
- Full study support, including potential day release.
