Purpose of the Workshop Technician Role:

Our client is looking for a Workshop Technician to perform all maintenance, repair, new build or refurbishment work on all makes and models of volumetric mixers as required.


Key Responsibilities for a Workshop Technician:

  • Perform service and maintenance work on all makes and models of volumetric concrete mixers.
  • Develop and maintain technical expertise in the service, repair, maintenance and operation of volumetric mixers and their relevant systems.
  • Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used.
  • Assist in root cause analysis of failures to help improve the overall quality of the equipment.
  • Develop skills and expertise to perform work to the highest quality standards.

Key Requirements for a Workshop Technician:

  • Previous experience as a fitter working with heavy equipment preferred while other relevant experience will be considered.
  • Strong electrical fault finding.
  • Knowledge of hydraulics and welding.
  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
  • Be able to follow instructions, respond to direction and take responsibility.
