Job Title: Certification Engineer

Brief Description of Job Duties
- Reading and understanding national, international, and customer-specific specifications and standards.
- Reviewing and approving incoming raw material and fastener certifications across various material grades.
- Assembling comprehensive certification packs, including detailed API certification documentation.
- Communicating directly with suppliers and customers to ensure accuracy and alignment with requirements.
- Maintaining and updating libraries of relevant standards for easy access and compliance.
- Scanning and archiving approved supplier certifications.
- Organising and filing heat treatment and plating reports from suppliers.
- Managing scanned certification packs for streamlined accessibility.
- Maintaining the daily despatch list.
- Collaborating with the Despatch department to prioritize and manage workload effectively.
Requirements
- Industry knowledge.
- familiarity with raw materials, fasteners and their associated certifications across various material grades.
- Strong understanding of industry standards.
- Excellent attention to detail - proving your accuracy to reviewing and approving documentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience liaising directly with suppliers and customers to address inquiries, clarify specifications, and ensure compliance.
