Our client is now seeking a Sales Account Manager on a Hybrid basis to support in the development of new partners to ensure the continued expansion of the UK market

The requirement is for an office-based point of contact for existing customers developing long term relationships, and generating additional business. Previous experience and a track record of building and delivering relationships within a sales support environment is essential.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • To develop contacts and relationships with customers that ensure we are first choice when placing orders, first refusal in any competitive situation and to be familiar with customer’s regular requirements.
  • Working with Area Sales Managers to discover opportunities from leads and arrange follow up action including video call meetings (face to face meetings occasionally).
  • Generate new business opportunities via researching all media channels.
  • Develop market categories & specifically new industries.
  • Use of strong selling and influencing skills to convert opportunities.
  • Log, track and maintain outbound activity via Salesforce.
  • Update customer information in our CRM & ERP.
  • Attend sales meetings, sales training and potentially local trade shows/road shows
  • Cross selling products to drive profit at the point of sale.
  • Maintain market & competitor knowledge.
  • Using Telephone & Video call based applications.
  • Maintain up to date product knowledge & competitor awareness which will enable you to offer alternative products when necessary

The ideal candidate will possess the following experience.

  • B2B Sales Admin, Account management or Support background.
  • Enthusiastic and willing to learn new skills and work within a small, fast paced company.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Proficient in Office 365/Excel.
  • Confident communicator both internally with the team and externally with your managed accounts.
  • Proactive, organized, great time and work-load management to prioritize tasks and actions.
  • Experience with working within the software industry desirable but not essential.
