Sonic Summary

Next Generation is recruiting for a CNC Turner to work night shifts from Monday to Thursday, 18:00pm to 06:00am.
The position offers a competitive salary of up to £19.50 per hour, with overtime rates of x1.3 from Monday to Saturday and x1.5 on Sundays.
Candidates must have 3 to 5 years of experience in setting and operating Doosan Puma Lathes and programming in Fanuc, along with a strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities include programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes, as well as performing basic machine maintenance and monitoring cycle times.

Due to expansion, Next Generation are currently recruiting for a CNC Programmer to work with a leading global manufacturer who produce machined components supplying predominantly into the energy industries. As the CNC Programmer you will be responsible for programming, setting and operating Fanuc controlled Lathes.

Duties of the CNC Turner:

Editing programs (G & M codes)
Setting & Operating CNC lathes using Fanuc controls
Carrying out offsets & tool changes
Altering speeds and feeds
Running multiple lathes at any one time
Monitoring cycle times
Basic machine maintenance

The successful candidate for the CNC Turners position will have the following experience:

3 - 5 years’ experience Setting & Operating Doosan Puma Lathes (Essential)
3 - 5 years’ experience programming in Fanuc (Essential)
Checking for defects & quality issues (Essential)
Ability to manage cycle times (Essential)
Excellent attention to detail (Essential)
