Senior Generator Engineer
Reporting directly to the workshop manager, S2L Generators are proud to announce wehave an exciting role as a senior generator engineer at our ever growing midlands depot in Wednesbury. Ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of work previously in the power generation sector.
Key task and job role to include:
- Service and maintaining company and customer owned machines ranging from 20-1500KVA.
- Loadbanking testing and producing loadbank reports.
- Produce maintenance and servicereports in line with company policy.
- Use and configure genset controllers such as DSE and Comap.
- Competent in all aspects of engine work from remedial work to overhauls.
- Competent in alternator testing and repairs.
- Adhere to all company and customer health and safety policies.
- Maintain company vehicle in accordance with company policy.
- Ensure all paperwork is completed in a timely and professional manner.
- Technical support to sales team and customers.
The ideal candidate will be flexible in their work undertaken, be willing to work as part of team/ be confident taking the lead in situations and also be comfortable working on theirown. Candidate must also be able to communicate efficiently with office staff,customers and managementensure all paperwork is completed in a timely and efficiant mannor and be proffessional when representing the company on site.
Qualifications
- 3 Years experience in diesel generator industry
- Mechanical Engineering (NVQ level 3)
- Electrical qualifications (advantageous)
- Fork lift truck tickets (advantageous)
