Our client, a long-established manufacturing business, is seeking a commercially focused and hands-on Head of Finance & Operations. This senior leadership role combines oversight of the finance function with operational systems management, playing a key role in shaping strategy, driving performance, and supporting long-term business growth.

Key Responsibilities of the Head of Finance & Operations:-
Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of ownership and accountability.

Own all aspects of financial control, reporting, compliance, and planning.

Prepare monthly management accounts and deliver insightful reporting to support strategic decisions.

Oversee the annual budget, forecasting, and year-end audit processes.

Manage cash flow, credit control, and debt insurance within agreed parameters.

Collaborate with senior management to influence decision-making with clear financial insight.

Maintain and enhance internal control procedures aligned with best practice.

Lead on KPI tracking, reporting, and continuous improvement across finance and operations.

ACA (preferred), ACCA, or CIMA qualified.

Excellent communicator with experience influencing senior stakeholders.

Hands-on, collaborative leadership style with a focus on continuous improvement.
