- Salary: £80,000 to £90,000 per annum
Key responsibilities of the Head of Finance:
- Lead the review and optimisation of a new ERP system
- Manage and develop a small finance team, fostering growth and high performance
- Produce monthly management reports and year-end financial statements
- Coordinate budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Monitor and report on key variances, driving corrective actions where needed
- Oversee audit preparation, tax packs, and regulatory compliance
- Take ownership of financial risk, credit control, and insurance-related matters
- Supervise stock audits and ensure accurate reporting and analysis
Key qualifications and experience required:
- Qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA)
- Proven track record in financial control, reporting, and systems management
- Previous involvement in ERP implementation within a manufacturing setting is highly desirable
- Confident influencing senior stakeholders and contributing to strategic discussions
