My client, a leading manufacturer of industrial and commercial heating systems, is seeking a motivated and eager Assistant Estimator to join their design team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to grow their skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Role Overview:
As an Assistant Estimator, you will play a crucial role in our office-based design and estimating team, delivering top-tier service and support to both internal and external customers. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced setting, with a strong emphasis on accuracy, communication, and a confident, positive approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter and manage quotes and drawings using the company's CRM system.
- Handle customer quotations and design requests.
- Follow up on and close sales quotations.
- Provide exceptional customer service and design support to both internal and external teams.
- Conduct site surveys, starting with supervision from a sales manager, with the potential to lead independent visits.
About You:
You are an enthusiastic team player with excellent communication skills and a keen interest in learning. Your attention to detail allows you to complete tasks accurately and efficiently. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is required, and experience with AutoCAD or similar design software is highly desirable.
