Diesel Engine Engineer

Monday – Friday, 40 hour week. (8am-4pm)

Wednesbury – New Manufacturing Site. (Site based, no travel involved) 

Salary £45,000 + Overtime.

Role Details: 

Diagnose, service, repair, and maintain diesel engines and related systems, including generators, transmissions, and hydraulics. You will be part of a close knit engineering team working together to maintain site equipment with the focus on diesel engines.

We are looking for someone passionate about fixing things and with previous experience working solely on engine repair and maintenance - as a Diesel Mechanic / Diesel Fitter or Maintenance Engineer. 

  • Diagnosis and Repair: Identifying and resolving issues with diesel engines and fuel systems. 
  • Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal engine performance and longevity. 
  • Overhaul: Stripping down and rebuilding diesel engines and generator components. 
  • Service: Providing service and repair for diesel generators and related equipment. 
  • Technical Skills: Possessing strong technical skills in diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and electrics. Fabricating and welding components.
