Project Administrative work - 3-month placementStart Date: Monday 31st March! Must be immediately available to start on this date.£24,872.00 (pro-rata over 3-months)Hours of Work: 9am to 5pm or 8am to 4pmAre you out of work currently and have at least 2 to 3 years' experience co-ordinating and organising within an office setting using different systems? We are looking for a stable and reliable person for a period of 3-months supporting on a project for a business in Wednesbury?The role will be predominantly to support the implementation of the launch of a business wide system. You will be required to set role profiles and competencies against each person before the project go live date.Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Learning and Development team.
  • Create employee profiles on the new system, migrate/ data entry of all relevant information on training, qualifications, absences etc.
  • Assist in updating and maintaining the new system.
  • Enrol employees in courses and track their progress.
  • Generate reports on training completion and compliance.
  • Manage L&D calendars, schedule training sessions, and coordinate meetings.
  • Handle correspondence, emails, and inquiries related to training programs.
  • Maintain accurate records of training attendance, certifications, and evaluations.
  • Assist in preparing training materials, reports, and presentations.
  • Complete any training in line with the job role.
  • Organise logistics for training sessions, including booking venues, arranging catering, and setting up equipment.
  • Liaise with trainers, external vendors, and employees to ensure smooth training delivery.
  • Support virtual and in-person training sessions by setting up online platforms and troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Process invoices and manage budget tracking for training expenses
  • Order and maintain stock of learning materials and office supplies.
  • Support ad-hoc projects within the Learning and Development team as needed.
  • To undertake drugs and alcohol testing in line with current company procedures and policy.
  • To have a good working knowledge of all Policies and Procedures in MML SMS related to their role and area of work.
Job Requirements:
  • Strong administrative skills working in an office environment.
  • Strong experience using different systems and tracking information, ideally within an Educational or HR industry.
  • Able to work independently, use own initiative and be proactive in carrying out job duties.
  • Confident, strong communication skills and can work as part of a team as well as independently.
  • Ability to coordinate with management and gather requirements, map workflows, and ensure smooth system rollout.
  • Proficiency in data migration and system testing to ensure accuracy and functionality.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
