£50,000-£55,000 base salary + up to 15% bonus and 33 days holiday
The Company
Our client is a services provider with a total of 55,000 global employees and £5 billion turnover, and is established as a leader in their field. This multinational organisation supplies customers from their 30 sites and operates across Europe and South America. They are a stable and growth-focused organisation, achieved both organically and via acquisitions to expand their capacity.
Due to the nature of their products, they run a fast-moving operation supplying products to a range of customers. As part of their organisational culture progression is encouraged and supported, with clear internal training plans for upward movement within the management structure.
As a result, they are looking to recruit an Operations Manager with immediate effect.
The Role
The role of Operations Manager will oversee production on the second biggest site in the organisation. With £30 million revenue generated from this site alone and an expected growth of 20% for 2025, this site stands as a top performer. Reporting directly into the General Manager, this role will be responsible for day-to-day production operations:
- Overseeing production, logistics, health and safety, quality and people management within a 120-person site
- Ensuring KPIs for on time in full, productivity, and personnel costs are consistently achieved
- Accountability for the financial targets of the site, ensuring high levels of productivity to meet revenue goals
- Ensuring the site is meeting all compliance standards, with a particular focus on the line of healthcare products
The Candidate
To be successful in your application for this Operations Manager role you will need:
- Experience managing teams in a fast-moving operation
- An aptitude for both operational and revenue targets, whilst operating at the highest standards
- Strong decision-making skills and a drive to succeed
