Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? Aspire are looking for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our vibrant primary school in Wednesbury, providing support to children with autism, slight behavioural challenges, moderate learning difficulties (MLD), and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.

Role: Special Education Teacher
Location: Wednesbury
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

The Ideal Candidate:

Qualified teacher with experience or strong desire to work with children who have autism, MLD, and SEMH needs.
Knowledge and experience of strategies to support children with behavioural challenges and learning difficulties.
Passionate about fostering a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
Adaptable, patient, and empathetic, with excellent communication skills to build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents.
Proactive and solution-focused with the ability to tailor lesson plans to meet individual learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that support the diverse needs of children with autism, MLD, and SEMH.
Develop and implement personalized learning plans to ensure every child has the opportunity to thrive.
Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCO, and other professionals to provide holistic support.
Monitor and track progress, using evidence-based methods to celebrate achievements and address challenges.
Create a safe, supportive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages confidence, social skills, and emotional growth.
