This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic HR and Payroll team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. With a hybrid working model, you'll have the flexibility of working three days in the office and two days from home, earning between £27,000 and £29,000 depending on your experience.Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the timely and accurate processing of payroll using the HR Cloud system (Access Software), including starter/leaver data and other payroll-related changes.
  • Support the production of HR and payroll reports as needed.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for payroll queries, delivering excellent customer service.
  • Contribute to the completion of month-end and year-end payroll procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory HR and payroll regulations.
  • Maintain HR and payroll systems, including job hierarchy, document uploads, and personal data management.
  • Assist in audit processes and help implement recommendations within specified timelines.
  • Apply continuous improvement practices to streamline payroll processes and enhance customer service.
  • Ensure confidentiality and integrity in all payroll-related activities.
  • Prioritize and manage your workload to meet deadlines set by the Payroll Manager.
  • Support HR and payroll projects, ensuring project deadlines are met.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to deliver quality payroll services.
Essential Experience:
  • At least 1+ years of payroll experience.
  • Experience in a customer-focused environment.
  • Experience processing end to end payroll
  • Proven track record of driving continuous improvement and best practices.
  • Experience with cloud-based HR and payroll systems, preferably Access HR and Payroll.
Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of HR and payroll processes and current legislation.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • CIPP qualification (desirable but not essential).
