Monday to Friday 40 hours
14 to 18 Dependent on experience (29,100 to 37,400 annually)
Overtime only if required + Holidays + Pension
ARE YOU A SKILLED CONVENTIONAL OR MANUAL MACHINIST WITH MILLING EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE OF XYZ OR SEMI SUTOMATED MILLING MACHINERY?
If the answer to the above question is yes, then this could be the job for you, offering secure long term employment in a small friendly conventional machine shop.
The role would suit those with conventional manual machining backgrounds that are happy with a more hands on approach to preparing jobs, carrying out calculations and interpreting engineering drawings to complete tasks and produce precision components.
The role requires someone with a high degree of confidence in their manual machining capability and less reliance on automated processes.

Manual Machinist requirements:
* Must be a proven manual/conventional miller/machinist
* Must have experience of semi automated / XYZ machinery
* Strong workshop based skills highly advantageous
* Able to interpret mechanical engineering drawings
* Able to accurately plan and calculate for manual milling tasks for precision components
