Role Overview:We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Design Manager to join our team in Wolverhampton. In this role, you will oversee the design and technical aspects of projects, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery. This role focusses on Sustainable Living Spaces.Â
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage design processes and teams.
- Ensure regulatory and company compliance throughout projects.
- Manage design programmes and approvals.
- Conduct site visits and attend meetings as needed.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Thorough understanding of construction regulations and building codes.
- Proven experience in residential building design.
- Ability to lead and manage the Building Regulations and Planning & Design function, acting as the designated individual for each allocated HRB project.
- Monitor design work for regulatory compliance and establish scoping of designers.
- Knowledge of the Building Safety Act and the HRB Procedure Regulations.
- Passion for construction and creating sustainable communities.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD or Revit).
