Materials Planner - Join a Leading Food Business

What You Will Do:

  • Manage the stock of materials on site, guaranteeing availability to meet production requirements.
  • Order all ingredients and packaging, considering lead times and shelf life.
  • Monitor the sales forecast and respond to changes effectively.
  • Build, maintain, and monitor a Bill Of Materials (BOM) spreadsheet, flagging any discrepancies.
  • Liaise with suppliers and manage all ingredient and packaging stock takes, ensuring correct stock rotation.
  • Prepare for new product launches and key events, ensuring all packaging is in place to meet deadlines.

What You Will Bring:

  • Proven experience in stock control and replenishment practices, ideally within the food industry.
  • Experience within a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and analytical abilities.
  • High standard of IT proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Excel.
