Our client in the Wednesbury area is looking for a Quality Technician to join their fun and vibrant team due to continued business growth!
Benefits:
- Salary - 28,000 to 30,000 per annum
- Hours - Monday to Friday - 08:30am to 16:30pm (30 Minute lunch)

Role & Responsibilities:
- Ensure materials and products are handled in a hygienic environment, in line with products specs, compliance and food legislation.
- Carry out Quality duties as outlined by the QA Supervisor.
- To take part in all continuous improvement projects relevant to Quality/Technical.
- Be aware of individual product requirements.
- Assist in customer and 3rdparty audits.
- Coordinate action for non-conformances, manage follow up of incidents and handle customer complaints in an effective way.
- To undertake all checks as defined on the QMS testing schedule.
- Verification of production compliance through the QMS & HACCP systems
- To spend the 80% of the time per shift on the production area
- Quality certificates and COA completion
- Completion of Fabrication and Glass and hard plastic audits
- Completion of GMP audits
- Submission of laboratory samples
Required Skills & Experience:
- Be familiar with BRC requirements.
- Ability to take responsibilities and find appropriate solutions on food safety issues
- Proficient with Microsoft office (Excel / Word / PowerPoint)
- Flexible and adaptable in terms of shift pattern and absence coverage
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail
