We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to join an Ofsted rated Outstanding Secondary School in Wednesbury. Job Role:
- Teach English to Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) students
- Full class responsibilities, including planning and marking
- Promote excellent subject knowledge and instill a passion for literature
- Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a positive classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with other Secondary Teachers and support staff to achieve the school's objectives
Required Skills and Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT) status
- Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum
- Proven experience of teaching English in a secondary setting
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Passion for working with young people and inspiring them to succeed
- Experience with Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) is essential
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work effectively in a team
