The Role:

Children's Residential Care Support Worker

What you'll do:

  • Contribute to a young persons care plan and risk assessment, their review and implementation, monitoring progress and celebrating positive outcomes.
  • Maintain and promote residential care to high levels of professionalism expected by Heal Care Group, and by Ofsted.
  • Ensure that good quality records are maintained as required with supervision and advice from team leads and Managers.
  • Contribute to the educational and social development of each young person and assist in the implementation of Individual Care Plans and Individual Education Plans.
  • Meet the emotional and physical needs of our young people and maximize opportunities for their development.
  • Ensure the home is kept clean and in a tidy condition, adhere to the cleaning rota system, encourage the young people to participate as appropriate.
  • Form effective relationships with young people, their families (if appropriate) and external agencies.

Who We're Looking For

  • A genuine passion to help nurture young people with complex needs.
  • Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People or equivalent or a willingness to undergo this qualification once employed.
  • Full, UK driving licence.
  • All candidates must be over the age of 19
  • Ability to work on-site at one of our homes in Sandwell, West Midlands.
