I have an amazing opportunity to join a dynamic technology company focused on delivering top-notch solutions across various sectors. They are seeking a React Native Engineer to develop and maintain innovative mobile applications that aid in managing operations efficiently. You’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining our Android and iOS applications, built on Expo, focusing on best practices, testing, and ensuring quality when building scalable, enterprise-ready systems. Collaborating closely with other engineers, you will ensure the platform is efficient and reliable.

Day-to-day duties of the role:
  • Develop and maintain high-quality Android and iOS applications using React Native and Expo.
  • Implement best practices in mobile app development, including coding standards, code reviews, and automated testing.
  • Create reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, and manage deployments to the App Store and Play Store.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Write unit tests, integration tests, and ensure high code coverage.
  • Debug and troubleshoot technical issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience with React Native and Expo.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and reusable code with TDD or BDD.
  • Proficiency with JavaScript (TypeScript), RESTful APIs, and client-side state management.
  • Strong understanding of version control using Git.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience with AWS, serverless architecture, and GraphQL.
  • Experience with native mobile development (Swift, Objective-C, Java, Kotlin).
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum).
Soft Skills:
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
