Aspire are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant with expertise in supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Class size ranges from 4 - 10 depending on the needs of the children.* Assist with the development of social, communication, and sensory strategies to aid student learning and engagement.* Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) to support differentiated teaching.* Support students in self-regulation and emotional well-being, using de-escalation and positive reinforcement techniques.* Create a structured and predictable learning environment to support students with SEN in feeling safe and confident.* Assist with daily routines, including transitions between activities, break times, and personal care if required.* Foster strong relationships with parents, carers, and external professionals to ensure a collaborative approach to learning and development.* Maintain accurate records of student progress and contribute to review meetings.* Personal care.
