Due to internal promotion, Interaction Recruitment are currently seeking a Housekeeping Manager to join a team of 15-18 Housekeepers from junior staff to Supervisor level and to be based in a prestigious hotel in Kettering, Northamptonshire, NN14.

The salary on offer will depend on experience, employment history and skillset.

Applicants:

  • At least 1 year experience in a hotel within Housekeeping at Team Leader, Supervisor, Deputy Manager or Manager level
  • At least 1 year experience leading a team of Housekeepers
  • A firm but fair hands on leader with experience in leading and training junior staff
  • Excellent attention to detail, planning and organisation
  • Prioritising workload, organising rotas to occupancy (typically busiest Wednesday to Sunday)
  • Stock management, inventory and ordering
  • History of working in hotels and/or conference centres
  • Flexible and adaptable to the needs of the business, putting customer experience at the forefront 
  • Ensuring all rooms and public areas are cleaned and sanitised to a high standard
  • Creating a happy work environment for team members, ensuring everyone has a fair weekly rota
  • Organising rota's to ensure larger rooms are worked in couples
  • Provide relevant training, manage 15-20 staff, keep team moral
  • Ability to have rooms to a high quality standard within 30-45 minutes (excluding four poster rooms)

Rota: 5 out of 7 days / 40 hours per week
