The Manual Machinist role has great benefits including:-
37 hours per week – 8.30am to 4.30pm Mon-Thurs and 8.30am to 4pm Friday with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break; flexi-time is available between 7.30 and 9am and 4 and 6pm (4.30pm on Fridays)

Duties for the Machinist include:-
- To manufacture components and parts, generally from aluminium, stainless steel and plastics, in accordance with drawings, technical specifications and tolerances.
- To setup & operate manual milling machine and manual lathe including planning a sequence of operations to allow efficient manufacture.
To be successful as a Machinist you need to be able to:-
- Read and interpret drawings, specifications and tolerances
- Operate manual milling machine to manufacture components
- Operate manual lathe to manufacture components to quality requirements
- Use precision measuring equipment
