About the Role:

We are recruiting on behalf of our client who is seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to lead the setup of a brand-new 3-bed Family Assessment Residential Service in Kettering. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in the development and management of a service that provides essential support to families during crucial periods of assessment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the setup and ongoing management of the 3-bed Family Assessment Residential Service.
  • Ensure the service meets all regulatory requirements and standards, including those set by OFSTED.
  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of staff to deliver high-quality care and assessment services.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures that align with best practices and legislative requirements.
  • Work closely with external agencies, including local authorities and healthcare providers, to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Oversee the assessment process, ensuring that families receive thorough and fair evaluations.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring the financial sustainability of the service.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Must be a Registered Manager with a relevant qualification (Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare) or willing to enrol.
  • Proven experience in managing a residential service, preferably within family assessment or children’s services.
  • Strong knowledge of OFSTED regulations and experience in ensuring compliance.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with families, staff, and external partners.
