The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Conveyancing Secretary to provide crucial support to the firm’s busy residential property team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established department that prides itself on its client-focused approach and high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to fee earners in the conveyancing department.
  • Preparing and formatting legal documents, correspondence, and forms.
  • Managing diaries, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings.
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, and other third parties in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Handling incoming calls and emails, ensuring prompt and accurate communication.
  • Maintaining and updating client files and records on the case management system.
  • Conducting searches, preparing bundles, and submitting Land Registry applications.

About You:To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience as a legal secretary in a conveyancing department.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and legal case management systems.
  • A confident and professional telephone manner.
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional client care skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
