Our client, a market leading firm in its field is partnered with Aila to recruit a Management Accountant on a permanent basis.About the Company:

The role:This is a key role responsible for financial reporting, analysis and partnering with internal stakeholders to analyse Technology spend across the business. You will use your blend of financial acumen and analytical mindset to add value in what is a pivot role within this high performing team. Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of Management Accounts
  • Analyse marketing spend, utilising business knowledge and technical understanding to review performance vs Budget/Forecast and current trends.
  • Produce periodic reconciliation of accounts ensuring integrity is maintained throughout, adhering to financial controls and following up on discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Interrogate and analyse large data sets, interpret and communicate concisely to management within IS/marketing and Finance functions.
  • Review and reconcile existing pricing to ensure consistency and accuracy across product hierarchies and across territories.
  • Minimise costs and drive efficiency by monitoring ongoing contracts/subscriptions.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Part-qualified ACCA/CIMA candidate actively studying towards qualification
  • Strong Excel skills with the ability to manipulate large sets of data
  • Strong background within a month-end focused role
  • Ability to build relationships internally with stakeholders of varying levels
